Jonathan Pledges to only serve two terms

The gerontocracy is a major impediment to solving problems that will extend decades into the future, such as growing wealth inequality, energy transition, rising health care costs, and climate change.

Jonathan pledges that he will serve only two terms in the Senate and then leave the seat open prior to his 60th birthday, allowing the next generation of leadership to rise to solve the problems that generation will face.

But term limits are only a start. Our government needs additional fundamental changes to work properly, such as eliminating corporate spending in elections and a mandatory congressional retirement age. Jonathan will fight for those changes in the Senate.

The Senate is supposed to be solving our country's problems, not creating new ones.
